Contributor
From WikiDreams
Contributors are people that believe in the aspirer(s) and/or the eDream and willingly contribute their time, money or talents to help ensure it happens. Contributors may benefit from the successful enablement of the eDream though they are not directly reimbursed for helping with the eDream pursuit like a provider. Contributor Insight helps to understand what type of contributor(s) are required and how to secure their contributions like Jimmy Wales did when creating Wikipedia.
The primary #Contributor types:
- Key Contributor are people that provide a contribution that is critical to making the eDream happen. If the key contributor doesn't provide the contribution, another person needs to be secured to make the contribution otherwise the success of the eDream is at risk.
- Influencers are people that influence the aspirer or decision makers, thus influencing whether the enablement of an eDream is successful.
- Angel Advocates are people that want the eDream to happen, have valuable knowledge and abilities and are willing to help make the eDream happen.
- Co-Aspirers are people that invest a similar level of time, take similar risk and experience a similar levels of rewards as an Aspirer. Co-Aspirers are not likely eDream DecisionMakers though their commitment can have significant influence with the Aspirer(s).
- Financial contributors are people that contribute financial resources in advocating for the aspirer(s), beneficiary(ies), mission, solution or in addressing the Problem/Unmet Need(s). They provide funding either with or without expectations that they need to be paid back or receive any other compensation.
- Providers are people who provide a service required for the enablement of an eDream. Providers are resources that provide essential roles (i.e., legal, accounting, web design) and are either paid for their services or expect some kind of future reimbursement.
- Volunteers are people that donate their time or other resources in advocating for the aspirer(s), beneficiary(ies), mission, solution or in addressing the Problem/Unmet Need(s). They donate time without the expectations that they need to be paid back or receive any other compensation.
- Social Circles are the different groups of people that the aspirer will interact with during the pursuit of an eDream. The people in the social circles may be supportive, neutral or negative about the eDream pursuit. They can influence how people feel about the eDream. They may wonder how the pursuit of the eDream will affect them personally.
Contributors are a component of impacting people.
