The strategy is the approach to achieve the mission by addressing the impacting elements and providing focus on the essential activities within enablement process. The strategy evolves based on what is learned about the impacting elements, enablement design and iteration creation. as more is learned about the impacting elements, [[enablement designadapt to change,
intersection]] adapting to change and evolving with the uncertainty from complexity. It consists of continuous improvement of three components:
- Strategies - overall approaches to make progess towards achieving the mission and address the impacting elements
- Solutions - that must be created to achieve the mission and address the problem/unmet needs
- Measures - to evaluate the progress of the strategies and solutions toward achieving the mission
This is step 3 of the Enablement Process.
The strategy is the three to five overall approaches to achieve the mission while addressing any barriers from Impacting Elements. It could be called a simple rule that guides decisions and priorities. Examples of what the strategy would address:
- approaches that deliver progress toward achieving the mission
- approaches that address potential barriers to achieving the mission from the Impacting Elements
The strategy is finding an approach at the complex enablement intersection to make the eDream happen.
The strategy is a part of the Iteration Generator and an element of the Plan.
