The Iteration Generator is a development framework to efficiently and effectively manage the numerous iterations required to make the eDream happen. The Mission may have minimal changes, the Strategy will likely have several changes, the Plan may have thousands of changes.

Step 1 - Mission

• Develop Mission
• Determine Timing
• Determine Commitment

Step 2 - Impacting People

• 2a - Identify list of Impacting People
• 2b - Understand how each of the Impacting People may impact the mission
• 2c - Iterate Impacting People by repeating steps 1-2 as many times as necessary

Step 3 - Impacting Realities

• 3a - Identify list of Impacting Realities
• 3b - Understand how each of the Impacting Realities may impact the mission
• 3c - Iterate Impacting Realities by repeating steps 1-3 as many times as necessary

Step 4 - Strategy

• 4a - Determine how to address each of the Impacting People and Realities to achieve the Mission
• 4b - Develop Objectives to achieve the mission that includes addressing the Impacting People and Realities and to provide focus on the essential activities within the Enablement Process.
• 4c - Develop the Solutions that will need to be created to achieve the mission, address the Impacting People and Realities, delivers on the mission-level objectives and addresses the Problem/Unmet Needs of the impacting people.
• 4d - Develop performance Measures that will measure the progress of the objectives and solution toward achieving the mission
• 4e - Revist Impacting People and Realities lists
  • Identify list of additional Impacting People and Realities based on the Objectives and Solutions developed in Step 4.
  • Understand how the list of additional Impacting People and Realities may impact the mission, objectives and solutions, revist existing Impacting People and Realities to confirm or adjust understanding based on Step 4.
  • Determine how to address the list of additional Impacting People and Realities, revist existing Impacting People and Realities to confirm or adjust how each will be addressed based on Step 4.
• 4f - Learn & Validate - Strategy, Solution, and Impacting Elements
  • Reach out to the Impacting People (Aspirers, Beneficiaries, Decision Makers, Contributors, Communities) to validate the Strategy, Solution, and understanding of the Impacting Elements.
  • Iterate Strategy, Solution, and Measures by repeating steps 1-4 as many times as necessary

Step 5 - Impacting Activities

• 5a - Design the Solutions to be created
• 5b - Design Communication, Operational, Funding, and Personal Needs components
• 5c - Revist Objectives to ensure the Solutions, Communication, Operational, Funding, and Personal Needs address Impacting People and Realities and will achieve the Mission
• 5d - Identify list of Impacting Activities required to address the Impacting People and Realities, implement the Strategy, create the Solution, Communication, Operational, Funding, and Personal Needs components
• 5e - Understand how to complete each of the Impacting Activities
• 5f - Revist Impacting People and Realities lists
  • Identify list of additional Impacting People and Realities based on the Impacting Activities developed in Step 5.
  • Understand how the list of additional Impacting People and Realities may impact the mission, objectives, solutions and Impacting Activities, revist existing Impacting People and Realities to confirm or adjust understanding based on Step 5.
  • Determine how to address the list of additional Impacting People and Realities, revist existing Impacting People and Realities to confirm or adjust how each will be addressed based on Step 5.
• 5g - Learn & Validate - Impacting Activities
  • Reach out to the impacting People (Aspirers, Beneficiaries, Decision Makers, Contributors, Communities) to validate the Strategy, Solutions Impacting Activities, People and Realities as well as how they will be addressed
  • Update Strategy, Solutions, Communication, Operational, Funding, and Personal Needs as well as Impacting Activities, People and Realities based on what is learned
  • Iterate Impacting Activities by repeating steps 1-5 as many times as necessary

Step 6 - Iteration Creation

• 6a - Organize the Activities into a Plan designed to achieve Mission, the timing of the Mission and the mission-level Objectives
• 6b - Develop top-level design of the Plan that includes the total Financial investment, Major Milestones, People, and Timeline
• 6c - Develop details for each of the Activities that includes list of Tasks, People involved and roles, Duration (including start date, end date & level of effort), Resources required, Cost and Dependenciesthe total Financial investment, Major Milestones, People, and Timeline
  • Create a detailed project plan
  • Implement the project plan
  • Test the Strategy & Activities to get the feedback from the impacting People
  • Update Impacting People and Realities, Strategy, Solution & Impacting Activities based on what is learned
  • Revise the Plan based on the update
  • Repeat steps 1-6 as many times as necessary
