The Iteration Generator is a development framework to efficiently and effectively manage the numerous iterations required to make the eDream happen. The Mission may have minimal changes, the Strategy will likely have several changes, the Plan may have thousands of changes.

Step 1 - Mission

• Develop Mission
• Determine Timing
• Determine Commitment

Step 2 - Impacting People

• 2a - Identify list of Impacting People
• 2b - Develop an understanding of each of the Impacting People and how they can impact the mission
• 2c - Iterate Impacting People by repeating steps 1-2 as many times as necessary

Step 3 - Impacting Realities

• 3a - Identify list of Impacting Realities
• 3b - Develop an understanding of each of the Impacting Realities and how they can impact the mission
• 3c - Iterate Impacting Realities by repeating steps 1-3 as many times as necessary

Step 4 - Strategy

• 4a - Determine how to address each of the Impacting People and Realities to achieve the Mission
• 4b - Develop Objectives to achieve the mission that includes addressing the Impacting People and Realities and to provide focus on the essential activities within the Enablement Process.
• 4c - Develop Solution that will need to be created to achieve the mission, helps to address the Impacting People and Realities, delivers on the mission-level objectives and addresses the Problem/Unmet Needs of the impacting people.
• 4d - Develop performance Measures that will measure the progress of the objectives and solution toward achieving the mission
• 4e - Revist Impacting People and Realities to determine if there are new Impacting Elements based on the new Objectives, Solution or Measures developed
• 4f - Review the Impacting Elements to determine if there are changes to the Understanding or how each will be addressed based on the new Objectives, Solution or Measures developed
• 4g - Learn & Validate - Strategy, Solution, and Impacting Elements
  • Reach out to the Impacting People (Aspirers, Beneficiaries, Decision Makers, Contributors, Communities) to validate the Strategy, Solution, and understanding of the Impacting Elements.
  • Iterate Strategy, Solution, and Measures by repeating steps 1-4 as many times as necessary

Step 5 - Impacting Activities

• 5a - Develop detailed design of the Solution to be created
• 5b - Design Communication, Operational, Funding, and Personal Needs components
• 5c - Revist list of Impacting People and Realities to determine if there are new Impacting Elements based on the design of the Communication, Operational, Funding, Personal Needs, and Solution components.
• 5d - Review the Impacting People and Realities to determine if there are changes to the Understanding or how each will be addressed based on the design of the Solution, Communication, Operational, Funding, and Personal Needs components
• 5e - Develop list of the Impacting Activities required to address the Impacting People and Realities, implement the Strategy, create the Solution, Communication, Operational, Funding, and Personal Needs components
• 5f - Learn & Validate - Impacting Activities
  • Develop Understanding of each of the Impacting Activities
  • Develop Impacting People and Realities and how they can impact the mission
  • Reach out to the impacting People (Aspirers, Beneficiaries, Decision Makers, Contributors, Communities) to validate the Impacting Activities, Strategy and Impacting Elements
  • Update Impacting Elements and Strategy based on what is learned
  • Iterate Impacting Activities by repeating steps 1-5 as many times as necessary

Step 6 - Iteration Creation

• 6a - Organize the Activities into a Plan designed to achieve Mission, the timing of the Mission and the mission-level Objectives
• 6b - Develop top-level design of the Plan that includes the total Financial investment, Major Milestones, People, and Timeline
• 6c - Develop details for each of the Activities that includes list of Tasks, People involved and roles, Duration (including start date, end date & level of effort), Resources required, Cost and Dependenciesthe total Financial investment, Major Milestones, People, and Timeline
  • Create a detailed project plan
  • Implement the project plan
  • Test the Strategy & Activities to get the feedback from the impacting People
  • Update Impacting People and Realities, Strategy, Solution & Impacting Activities based on what is learned
  • Revise the Plan based on the update
  • Repeat steps 1-6 as many times as necessary
