The Iteration Generator is a development framework to efficiently and effectively manage the numerous iterations required to make the eDream happen. The Mission may have minimal changes, the Strategy will likely have several changes, the Plan may have thousands of changes.

Step 1 - Mission

• Develop Mission
• Determine Timing
• Determine Commitment

Step 2 - Impacting Elements

• 2a - Develop list of Impacting Elements - People (Aspirers, Beneficiaries, Decision Makers,Contributors, Communities), Realities (Problem/Unmet Needs)
• 2b - Research & Learn more about Impacting Elements
• 2c - Determine any dependencies or potential barriers the Impacting Elements have on achieving the Mission
• 2d - Determine critical interrelationships between Impacting Elements
• 2f - Iterate Impacting Elements by repeating steps 1-2 as many times as necessary

Step 3 - Strategy

• 3a - Develop Objectives to achieve the Mission by addressing the Impacting Elements and providing focus on the essential Activities within the Enablement Process.
• 3b - Develop Solution to achieve the Mission, address the Impacting Elements, deliver the mission-level Objectives and address the Problem/Unmet Needs of the impacting People.
• 3c - Develop performance Measures to be able to measure the progress of the Objectives and Solution toward achieving the Mission
• 3d - Revist Impacting Elements to determine if there are new Impacting Elements based on the new Objectives, Solution or Measures developed
• 3d - Review the Impacting Elements to determine if dependencies, potential barriersand/or critical interrelationshipsneed to be revised there based on the new Objectives, Solution or Measures developed
• 3e - Learn & Validate - Solution and Strategy
  • Reach out to the People (Aspirers, Beneficiaries, Decision Makers,Contributors, Communities) to validate the Solution and Strategy
  • Iterate Solution & Strategy by repeating steps 1-3 as many times as necessary

Step 4 - Enablement Design

• 4a - Design Communication, Operational, Funding, and Personal Needs components
• 4b - Develop detailed design of the Solution to be created
• 4c - Determine if new Impacting Elements to ensure it includes what was discovered in the design
• 4d - Develop design elements list within each component that includes the people and resources that will be involved in making it happen
• 4e - Determine approach for Decision Makers and Contributors
• 4f - Revisit the Impacting Elements to ensure it includes what was discovered in the design
• 4g - Learn & Validate - Solution Design and Enablement Design
  • Reach out to the People (Aspirers,Beneficiaries, Decision Makers,Contributors), Communities to validate the design and plan to address impacting and design elements
  • Update Impacting Elements, Strategy and Solution Design based on what is learned
  • Iterate Design by repeating steps 1-4 as many times as necessary
• 4h - Develop a plan and list of activities to address each design element
  • Create a detailed project plan

Step 5 - Iteration Creation

• 5a - Create the Solution & Enablement Designs
• 5b - Implement the plan
• 5c - Learn & Test - Test Design & Plan
  • Test the Solution & Enablement Design to get the feedback from the Aspirers,Beneficiaries, Decision Makers,Contributors
  • Update Impacting Elements, Strategy, Solution Design & Enablement Design based on what is learned
  • Revise the Plan based on the update
  • Repeat steps 1-5 as many times as necessary
