Relationship eDreams

These are eDream Maps relating to relationships. The major categories of relationships are as follows:

• Intimate Relationship - is an interpersonal relationship that involves physical or emotional intimacy. It could be a relationship with a significant other or someone with a major impact on your personal well-being.
• Interpersonal Relationship - is a strong, deep, or close association between two people which has some level of interdependence (social, emotional, wisdom). It could be a friend, family, colleague or even a business relationship that goes beyond a functional relationship.
• Functional Relationship - are relationships that provide important functions in achieving our personal well-being. They are based on some level of mutual understanding, trust (credibility) and respect (competence). The relationship may not develop into an interpersonal relationship, though it is very important (get along with a family member, keep job, help resolve an issue, collaborate on a common passion). Functional Relationships include:
  • Collaborative Relationship - are relationships that each person is collaborating on a common interest or goal.
  • Supportive Relationship - are relationships that person is dependent on some level of support.
  • Transactional Relationship - are relationships that each person achieves a functional benefit. It could be relationship with your boss, business client or even a family member.
• Social Relationship - are relationships that each person is mutually social, yet has not developed an additional functional relationship or some level of interdependence (social, emotional, wisdom).
• Connection - are people that are mutually aware of each other or connected by something in common. It could be a neighbor, out of town cousin, acquaintance, or business associate that you do not currently have a more enriching relationship level.
