A successful solution addresses the problem/unmet need of the beneficiaries and achieves the mission of the aspirer(s).

Solution Insight helps to determines if the solution addresses the problem/unmet need of the beneficiaries and achieves the mission of the aspirer(s). Muhammad Yunus was able to effectively develop his Nobel Prize winning solution. It provided a micro-credit solution for the poor village woman beneficiaries by addressing their problem/unmet need of not having access to loans to buy materials to make hand crafted products. It achieved the mission of the aspirer Muhammad Yunus by achieving his dream to improve the world after seeing people die from starvation in Bangladesh.

The types of solution(s) include:

  • Personal solution(s) - The primary beneficiary is also the aspirer.
  • Loved Ones solution(s) - The primary beneficiaries could include the aspirer(s), the aspirer's family and/or very close friend(s) to the aspirer(s). If there is only one primary beneficiary and they are not the aspirer, it would still be categorized as 'loved ones' even though it is singular.
  • General solution(s) - The primary beneficiaries include people that are not either the aspirer or could be included in the 'Loved Ones'.

The solution is a component of the eDream.
