A stakeholder is someone, in addition to the beneficiaries and aspirers, that may have a direct impact on whether an eDream will be successful.

Decision Maker

Decision Makers are people that can say yes when everyone else says no and still get their way. There could be one decision maker or there could be millions if the eDream is to win a political campaign or sell a retail product. Decision Makers include beneficiaries and aspirers as their decisions can decide the successful enablement of an eDream.

Technical Advisor

Technical Advisors are people that decision makers rely upon to help make decisions. It is someone whose technical or domain knowledge (i.e., electronics, health care) is trusted by the decision maker and can influence their decisions.

Investor

Investors are people that invest money, time or other resources into making the eDream happen. Their investments are based on some kind of expectations set by the aspirer in regards to the enablement process and/or eDream outcome.

Influencer

Influencers are people that have opinions that are valued by decision makers which can have an impact on their decisions.

Impacted

These are people that are not one of the stakeholders described above and typically do not have much influence over the beneficiaries, aspirers or decision makers. If the impacted are impacted in a significant negative way that makes decision makers uncomfortable, this could result in influencing decisions. Also, if a group of impacted get together to combine their voices, they can influence decision makers.
