Objectives

Objectives are the three to five overall approaches within the strategy to achieve the mission by addressing the impacting elements and providing focus on the essential activities within the enablement process. It could be called a simple rule that guides decisions and priorities. Examples of what the strategy would address:

• approaches that deliver progress toward achieving the mission
• approaches that address potential barriers to achieving the mission from the Impacting Elements
• approaches that efficiently organize the activities within the enablement process

Objectives are components of the strategy.
