Resources are required to make an eDream happen. Resources are an enablement component of making an eDream successfully happen. Resources Insight provides insight into the potential resources that may be required for the successful enablement of an eDream.

For each resource, the following needs to be determined:

  • Time - How much time is required?
  • Availability - What is the availability?
  • Flexibility - What are the contingencies or nuances to the resource?
  • Cost - How much does it cost?


Digital Resources (bits)

Applications

Computer, smart phone or other device software applications.

Communications

Texting, video conferencing, email and chat via encrypted or protected communication.

Devices

Digital devices or digitally enabled products such as computers, tablets, cell phones or other wi-fi enabled devices

Processing

Web site, transactional processing,data analytics software and other information technology infrastructure to support processing

Storage

Online, offline storage, cloud, data base and other scalable ways to store digital data

The services required to make an eDream happen.

Application Enabled Services

These are services that can be acquired and leveraged by simply going online and selecting them. They do not require tailoring speaking to a person and are available 24 hours per day.

Commercial Services

These are services that are generally available and required very little in the way of tailoring.

Personal Services

These services required developing an agreed Statement of Work (SOW) between the customer and provider.

Professional Services

These services required developing an agreed Statement of Work (SOW) between the customer and provider.

Other Tailored Services

These services required developing an agreed Statement of Work (SOW) between the customer and provider.

Utility Services

Internet Access, Cellular Phone Service, Energy service, Cable Television Service, etc.
