Examples of questions to consider:

Legal Entity

• Need a legal entity created or revised?
• What is the entity? Personal, business, not-for-profit, etc.
• Need to establish legal status for Self-employed, Sole Proprietorship, Partnership, LLC, C or S Corporation?
• Who owns it?
• A legal entity may be required to operationalize your idea or to protect you from things like lawsuits.

Governance

• If your dream or complex goal involves multiple people with a vested interest, a method for making decisions may need to be formalized.
• How are decisions made? Who has control? Does an operating agreement need to be developed?
