#BusinessPlan is an element of #Operational that may need to be established or in place for an eDream to be viable.

Questions to consider whether a #BusinessPlan is necessary, 1. Will it require raising money through loans an/or investments? 2. Will it require managing people? 3. Will it require displacing competitors? If the answer is yes, a #BusinessPlan is likely necessary.

Business Plan

Financial Plan - 6 months, 2 years, 5 years

  • Whether it’s to ensure you can pay for four years of college or have enough for your desired retirement, a financial budget may be required.
  • Projected Financial Reports
  • Revenue & Expenses (P&L, Income Statements) Cash Flow, Balance Sheets
  • Cash Flow Projections

Investment Plan

  • How much do you need?
  • How much needs to be raised? From who? When?
  • Do you need an Investor Pitch?
  • If you need investors, partners or loans, you may need a business plan to get your dream off the ground.

Operating Plan

  • Beneficiary Development - i.e, Business Development/Sales
  • Solution Design - Design, validate, engineering, etc.
  • Solution Creation - develop, test, validate, etc.
  • Solution Production - ongoing after initial creation
  • Solution Distribution - initially and ongoing, fulfillment of client orders, what are the distribution channels?
  • Solution Feedback & Support - Ensure beneficiary benefit, Customer Service & Support
  • Solution Improvements - updates, improvements and new version?
  • Human Resources - recruit, hire and manage people
  • Staffing Model - number of people, roles & timing
    • Salaries & Benefits, Skill sets, experience, ramp up time
