An Industry is the organization of the production of a good or service within an economy. Industries may have economic, government, and non-profit organizations contributing to the production.

Industry Knowledge is the understanding of how things operate within an industry. It is an understanding of the production from the initial inputs of investments, raw materials and labor through a refined delivery. It is the understanding of the leaders, key influences, rules (laws), realities, and how it relates to other industries.

Industrial communities are the people that work with or within an industry. Industrial communities often share common culture, leaders, rules (laws), protocols and communication.

Ecosystems are the inter operation of communities and industries in support of a new product, service or innovation. The ecosystem term is typically used to describe the environment of living organisms (people, plants, animals, Microbes) in conjunction with the environment (air, water and mineral soil), interacting as a system. Examples include tablet computing (electronics, cellular service, music, advertising, media, games) and the electric car (batteries, charging stations, addressing range anxiety, maintenance). For ecosystem eDreams, the interoperability of multiple communities and industries in support of an eDream may be required.
