Validation/Plussing is the process to discuss, learn and validate with people how to make an eDream happen. Validation/Plussing are a component of the Development Tracks to ensure the quality of the eDream and enablement approach.
- Validate by articulating eDream components, enablement components or execution components such as assumptions, requirements and required activities.
- Plussing by asking open ended questions like: How would you do it? What could make this better?

Beneficiary Validation/Plussing
Beneficiary validation should be done during each phase of the solution development and after any changes to the solution. This ensures that the solution developed will address the beneficiary(ies).
- Problem/UnMet Need Validation/Plussing - Validation the Beneficiary agrees with the Problem/UnMet Need. Determine which Beneficiary(ies) have the Problem/UnMet Need. Plussing the improves the understanding of the Problem/UnMet Need and possibly expand the list to additional Problem/UnMet Needs to address.
- Solution Validation/Plussing - Validation the Beneficiary agrees that the Solution addresses the Problem/UnMet Need and will improve their prosperity. Validation that the solution is something the Beneficiary would want to adopt. Plussing the improves the Solution and possibly expand the list to additional Problem/UnMet Needs to address.
- Beneficiary Commitment Validation/Plussing - Validation of what it would take for the Beneficiary to adopt the solution. Plussing on what it would take to increase the likelihood of the Beneficiary adopting the solution.
Decision Maker Validation/Plussing
Decision Maker validation should be done during each phase of the solution development and after any changes to the solution. This ensures that the solution will developed is a way the will secure the Decision Maker Commitment.
- Problem/UnMet Need Validation/Plussing - Validation the Decision Maker agrees with the Problem/UnMet Need which Beneficiaries(ies) have the Problem/UnMet Need. Plussing the improves the understanding of the Problem/UnMet Need and possibly expand the list to additional Problem/UnMet Needs to address.
- Solution Validation/Plussing - Validation the Decision Maker agrees that the Solution addresses the Problem/UnMet Need and will improve prosperity of the Beneficiary. Validation that the solution is meets the needs of the Decision Maker and/or is likely the Beneficiary would want to adopt it. Plussing to improves the Solution and possibly expand the list to additional Problem/UnMet Needs it could address.
- Operational Validation/Plussing - Validation the Decision Maker believes that the solution will become operational intially and ongoing. Plussing the how the Solution can become operational.
- Communications Validation/Plussing - Validation the Decision Maker believes that the communications will ensure beneficiary awareness to ensure the benefits of the solution will be realized. Plussing the how the Communication will effectively increase awareness and adoption.
- Decision Maker Commitment Validation/Plussing - Validation of what it would take for the Beneficiary to adopt the solution. Plussing on what it would take to increase the likelihood of the Beneficiary adopting the solution.
Solution Validation/Plussing
- Decision Maker Commitment - Validation the Decision Maker agrees that the Solution addresses the Problem/UnMet Need and will improve prosperity of the Beneficiary. Validation that the solution is meets the needs of the Decision Maker and/or is likely the Beneficiary would want to adopt it. Plussing to improves the Solution and possibly expand the list to additional Problem/UnMet Needs it could address.
Enablement Validation/Plussing
- Validation - Stakeholders, Supporter and Providers what needs to be done to make the eDream happen.
- Plussing - Stakeholders, Supporter and Providers on how to improve the solution and/or enablement process.
