An eDream consists of:
- A dream, big idea or a breakthrough innovation
- Requires insight to determine how to make it happen
- Requires managing the execution of a dedicated multi-year effort, with risk, multiple resources and people.
It may not seem like there is much in common with a dream to graduate from college, a big idea for a cancer cure and a breakthrough innovation like Apple's iPhone. Yet they each have similar eDream Components, Enablement Components and require an Enablement Execution to make them happen.
Castellina in Tuscany, Italy and New York are two entirely different destinations with little in common. Yet evaluating whether it is a good idea (eDream Insight to go there and what it would take to get there (Enablement Insight), may be similar. Travel to these destinations may require a different mix of planes, trains and automobiles, yet have a similar process Enablement Execution to effectively manage the trip from point A to point B.
Great ideas or aha moments are very important. Yet while these ideas get all the fanfare, they represent as little as 1% of the process to make them happen.(reference) This site provides a framework to evaluate whether an eDream is a good idea (eDream Insight), how to make it happen (Enablement Insight) and how to effectively manage (Enablement Execution) making it happen.

eDream Components
eDream Components are the major components of the eDream that must be addressed and aligned for it to be viable.
- Why is it important? - The Mission or reason behind the eDream.
- Who is/are the Aspirer(s)?
- What is/are the Problem/UnMet Needs of the beneficiary(ies) being addressed?
- Who is/are the Beneficiary(ies) that have the problem/unmet needs?
- What is the Solution that addresses the problem/unmet needs?
- What Communication will ensure the beneficiary(ies) are aware that the solution will address their problem/unmet needs?
- How will the communication and solution become Operational to ensure viability and sustainability?
