Iteration is the use of reasoning methods to address complexity by continuously adjusting the complex system, change and strategy predictions as well as strategy approaches until the mission is acheived.
The iteration reasoning methods address complexity by continuously:
- Executing toward achieving the mission (i.e., accurate weather forecasts)
- Communications & Collaborations
- Operational & Creation
- Funding
- Personal Needs
- Planning & Researching
- Learning how to improve the framework and strategy,
- Predicting progress, impacting elements, change and effectiveness of the strategy, and
- Complex System (Impacting Elements)
- Change
- Strategy
- Adjustment
- Adjusting the framework and strategy based on what is learned from iteration
Iteration is completing the activities defined in Step 5 of the Enablement Process, thus testing whether the approach to the Impacting Elements and the Strategy will deliver the mission-driven outcome.
