Iteration is the use of reasoning methods to address complexity by continuously adjusting the complex system, change and strategy predictions as well as strategy] approaches until the mission is acheived.

The iteration reasoning methods address complexity by continuously:

  • Executing toward achieving the mission (i.e., accurate weather forecasts)
  • Learning how to improve the framework and strategy,
  • Predicting progress, impacting elements, change and effectiveness of the strategy, and
  • Adjusting the framework and strategy based on what is learned from iteration

Iteration is completing the activities defined in Step 5 of the Enablement Process, thus testing whether the approach to the Impacting Elements and the Strategy will deliver the mission-driven outcome.

It required many iteration creations for Sara Blakely to achieve her big idea that led to her becoming the youngest self made female billionaire.

The Iteration Generator is a process framework for managing numerous iterations.

Iteration Creation is step 6 of the Enablement Process and Iteration Generator.
